Darwin to Litchfield National Park & return
Your day will start at approximately 7am from your Darwin accommodation for the drive to Litchfield National Park. Witness the bizarre magnetic and cathedral termite mounds - some as high as six metres tall - and learn about the fascinating way they are created and maintained.
At Litchfield National Park you can explore waterfalls, spring-fed streams and the rugged sandstone escarpments of the area. Swim, hike and explore Florence and Wangi Falls (seasonal) and enjoy a BBQ lunch prepared by your guide. Discover the many rock holes and cascading waterfalls of Buley Rockhole before your early evening arrival back in Darwin. (L)
