Beijing has four seasons and we generally recommend spring, summer and autumn as the best times to visit. Heavy rain may be expected during the rainy season (July - August).
Winter is normally cold with temperature around or below 0 degrees. As a consequence, some alterations to tours may be expected and the experience and view at the Great Wall is better at other times of the year.
