The Icefields Parkway provides panoramic views of endless valleys, sheer ridges, glaciers and spruce forests - truly one of the world's ultimate drives. Banff is Canada's oldest national park and it's definitely up there with the best in the world. Whether you explore Banff by car, bike, canoe or snowshoe you'll be left speechless by its endless beauty. With 1600 kilometres of trails, a town full of heritage and some incredible wildlife, you won't want to leave this mountain wonderland. Your leader will take you to Johnston Canyon, which is easily one of the national park's most popular day hikes. For more canyon action and stunning forest scenery, enjoy a leisurely hike to Stewart Canyon. Before you leave be sure to spend some time relaxing in the local hot springs; after hiking all those trails your weary feet will thank you!
