Vietnam - the country of the beautiful landscapes. They are divided into 3 main regions: Northern, Central and Southern part. Once you come to visit, you will be surprised by its beauty. This tour consists of the most interesting tourist attractions from the North to the South of the country. It is suitable for travellers who want to discover the new world.

  • Day 1: Hanoi Arrival

    On arrival in Hanoi you'll be pick up and transported to Hanoi center.
    Overnight in Hanoi at Silver Legend Hotel (or similar).

  • Day 2: Hanoi

    Around 08:00 AM you'll be picked up from your hotel and join a group tour. We'll drive to visit Ho Chi Minh complex, including Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum – the final resting place of the Vietnamese great father uncle Ho, President Ho Chi Minh's stilt House – where he lived on and off from 1958 to 1969, One Pillar Pagoda – a group of structures consisting of a pagoda and a tower built in the middle of a square lake. We leave One Pillar Pagoda and drive to West Lake to visit Tran Quoc pagoda and have lunch. After lunch, you will visit the Temple of literature and the Museum of Ethnology – the most interesting museum in Hanoi, with many different things relating to the 54 Vietnamese ethnic groups. After that, you will visit Hoan Kiem Lake (Restore Sword Lake). The last place of the tour is the old quarters of Hanoi, where you can walk around. Tour ends at your hotel.

    All museums are closed on Monday.
    Ho Chi Minh mausoleum is closed on Monday, Friday, the whole month of October and November!
    Long dresses are requested when visiting the mausoleum, temple and pagoda

  • Day 3: Hanoi/ Night train to Sapa

    Free until pick up at 19:30 - 20:00 PM and transfer to train station for the night train to Lao Cai (Sapa).
    Overnight on train in 4-berth soft sleeper cabin. (B)

  • Day 4: Sapa Minority Trek

    Pick-up from Lao Cai train station early morning and have a shared bus going to Sapa. At Sapa, you will have time to relax or simply walking around the town to discover the area.
    At 09:00, we walk down the valley toward Cat Cat village. On the way, we have opportunity to see the villagers working on the paddy fields and Fansipan mountain. Arrive Sin Chai - a village of the Black Hmong ethnic people, we have time to visit the area and beautiful landscape. Back to Sapa by the same road. Free and easy. O/N at hotel.
    Trekking distance: about 12km

  • Day 5: Sapa Minority Trek

    After breakfast in the hotel, trekking to Lao Chai village, on the way you will stop over for lunch and relax. In the afternoon, you continue your trek to Ta Van village to visit Zay people. Zay is fairly small minority group of about 38.000 people who live mainly in the mountains in Northwest Vietnam. The development has meant that some of their old customs have been lost but many women still wear traditional shirts with a purple, blue or green color. Dinner and stay overnight on stilt house. Overnight at home stay with local family.
    Trek: 12km to Lao Chai & Ta Van village (B, L, D)

This product may be affected by Vietnamese TET (New Year) – normally in Jan/Feb. Specific dates are blocked in the booking calendar if and when not bookable.
What can you expect during TET? The lunar New Year is very important to the Vietnamese. The days are spent together with family and relatives in private homes to celebrate. Expect the streets to be fairly empty and life at street level to be very limited.
