Chandertal Base of Deo Tibba Trek - 5 Days

This trek takes you to a small town of Jagatsukh, which was once the capital of Kullu Valley, where there are some ancient temples well worth visiting. From here the trail leads upward towards Village Khanol and then onto one of the most famous peaks in the Kullu district - the Deo Tibba (6001 m).

Included: Accommodation: Camping in tents
Meals: 4 breakfasts, 4 lunches, 4 dinners
Transport: Vehicle for the Pickup and transfer for trekking place with all road taxes and parking fees
Guide: English speaking guide during the trek
Others: Kitchen equipment, tent, table and mattresses, vegetarian food, cook, helper, horses/porters for luggage
Not included: · Visas, travel insurance (compulsory)
· Riding horse and sleeping bag during trek

· Trek in beautiful, serene surroundings to the beautiful emerald blue water Chandertal lake at the base of Deo Tibba
· Pass through forest towards the long and wide alpine plateau with wild flowers scatter around you.
· Visit the temple of Ved Mata Gayatri, which is constructed by the Pandvas and the temple of lord Shiva

  • Day 1: Manali to Jagatsukhthen to Chhika (3540mts.) 6 hours

    Today, you will be driven to Jagatsukh (6 KM) then trek to through the stretch of (5 KM). This will be steep, through forest and then long and wide alpine plateau with wild flowers to reach Chhika.

  • Day 2: Chhika to Seri (3980mts.) 5 hours

    A Delightful campsite with meadows all around. The route is along the right bank of Jagatsukh Nallah. Seri was once a glaciated lake but now meadows with various varieties of herbs and carpeted by alpine flowers.

  • Day 3: Seri to Chandertal (4270mts) then to Seri. 6 hours

    We finally reach beautiful lake with emerald blue water - Chandertal lake. Situated at the base of Deo Tibba. The flora enthusiast will have a wonderful time trying to identify the hundreds of flowers growing everywhere. Once you get enough of the nature around the lake, descend down to Seri camp.

  • Day 4: Seri to Chhika. 5 hours

    Now the trek continuous and descends to Chhika. One can find herbs and flowers which were missed while ascending towards Seri.

  • Day 5: Chhika to Jagat Sukh then drive to Manali. 6 hours.

    Trek down to Jagatsukh. Visit the temple of Ved Mata Gayatri which is construted by the Pandvas and the temple of lord Shiva.
    The trek ends here and then you drive back to the town Manali and continue on your own.
